Jo Adell LAA RF
Angels' Jo Adell: Goes deep Wednesday
4m agoAdell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a additional RBI in Wednesday's 5-4 victory versus the Pirates.
Adell put the Angels on the board with a solo shot to center field in the third inning, and he added a run-scoring single in the fifth. He finished with his first multi-hit game since April 27. With Mike Trout set to miss extended time due to knee surgery, Adell has become a near-everyday starter in the outfield. However, he's struggled so far this month, slashing .125/.185/.250 with seven strikeouts over seven games, though he does have three RBI and a pair of steals.
-
Gavin Williams CLE SP
Guardians' Gavin Williams: Shifted to 60-day IL
26m agoThe Guardians transferred Williams (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Thursday.
The move clears a spot on the team's 40-man roster for the addition of Darren McCaughan. Williams resumed a throwing program a week ago after a brief shutdown period following a setback with his right elbow. It was going to take him a while to get ramped back up anyway, though, so this transaction shouldn't alter his timetable.
-
Darren McCaughan MIA RP
Guardians' Darren McCaughan: Traded to Cleveland
32m agoThe Guardians acquired McCaughan from the Marlins in exchange for cash considerations.
McCaughan had been designated for assignment by the Marlins after giving up eight earned runs over 4.2 relief innings. The 28-year-old is capable of pitching as a starter or reliever and will give Cleveland swingman depth at Triple-A Columbus.
-
Kyle Freeland COL SP
Rockies' Kyle Freeland: Plays catch Wednesday
37m agoFreeland (elbow) played catch Thursday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.
It's the first time the left-hander has done anything throwing since he landed on the 15-day injured list in mid-April with a left elbow strain. Freeland will continue with a throwing progression as tolerated but it's too soon to say when he might be ready to re-enter the Rockies' rotation.
-
Nick Burdi NYY RP
Yankees' Nick Burdi: Returning Friday
1h agoManager Aaron Boone said Thursday that Burdi (hip) will return from the injured list Friday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
Burdi has been on the IL since April 19 due to right hip inflammation. He pitched in a rehab game at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, striking out all three batters he faced in his lone inning of work. The 31-year-old reliever has yet to allow a run through 6.1 frames this season, and he will likely pitch in middle relief upon returning to the Yankees' bullpen.
-
Carlos Lagrange NYY SP
Yankees' Carlos Lagrange: On shelf with undisclosed injury
1h agoLagrange is on the Florida Complex League Yankees' 7-day injured list with an undisclosed injury.
A 6-foot-7 righty with a monster fastball, Lagrange logged a 4.97 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 63 strikeouts in 41.2 innings in the Florida Complex League last season. Given that he turns 21 later this month, Lagrange would ideally make his full-season debut at some point later this season, health permitting.

Johanfran Garcia BOS C
Red Sox's Johanfran Garcia: Out for season with knee injury
2h agoSingle-A Salem placed Garcia on its full-season injured list Wednesday after he was carted off the field in a May 1 game with a "significant knee injury" that will require surgery, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.
The knee injury is a big setback in the development of Garcia, a 19-year-old catching prospect. Garcia had gotten off to a hot start to the Carolina League season before suffering the injury, slashing .385/.467/.596 with two home runs and five RBI over 60 plate appearances.
-
Jose Trevino NYY C
Yankees' Jose Trevino: Sitting in second straight
2h agoTrevino is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Astros.
The Yankees will go with Austin Wells at catcher for the second day in a row after Trevino had caught the previous three contests. The two have shared catching duties pretty close to down the middle this season, with Wells earning 21 starts to Trevino's 18.
-
David Fry CLE C
Guardians' David Fry: Hits game-tying homer
2h agoFry went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Tigers.
Fry went yard in the ninth inning off Andrew Chafin to tie the game at 4-4. This was Fry's second homer of the season. The versatile 28-year-old is batting .364 (8-for-22) over his last eight games. His ability to catch, play in the corner outfield and fill in at first base gives him multiple paths to playing time, and that versatility figures to be even more important as the Guardians weigh their options for left field with Steven Kwan (hamstring) out for likely four weeks. Fry is slashing .316/.438/.491 with two homers, one stolen base, 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and four doubles over 73 plate appearances.
-
Blake Sabol SF C
Giants' Blake Sabol: Getting steady playing time
3h agoSabol will serve as the Giants' designated hitter and No. 7 hitter in Thursday's game against the Rockies, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Sabol will pick up his fourth start in five games, though he'll be filling a non-defensive role Thursday after each of the prior three starts came at catcher. The 26-year-old should continue to see the bulk of the action behind the dish while both Patrick Bailey (concussion) and Tom Murphy (knee) are on the injured list. Sabol has gone 6-for-12 with a double and a walk since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento last weekend.
-
Tyler Stephenson CIN C
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Getting day off
4h agoStephenson is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Stephenson was behind the plate for both of the past two days and the Reds are closing out their series in Arizona with an afternoon game, so he'll receive a breather Thursday. Luke Maile will serve as the Reds' starting catcher in his place.
-
Elias Diaz COL C
Rockies' Elias Diaz: Two-run blast in loss
5h agoDiaz went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Giants.
Diaz drove in Colorado's third run of the game with an infield single in the bottom of the fifth and later added a two-run shot in the ninth to bring his team back within two runs of the Giants, though his effort would fall short. It marked the catcher's third multi-hit game already this month, and he's now hit safely in five of his last six contests. The home run was only Diaz's third of the season, though he's now batting .348 in May with four RBI and three extra-base hits.
-
Ryan Mountcastle BAL 1B
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Goes deep Wednesday
2h agoMountcastle went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.
Mountcastle is hitting .226 (7-for-31) over seven games in May, but four of those hits have gone for extra bases. He gave the Orioles a brief lead in the 11th inning of Wednesday's contest. The first baseman is slashing .277/.324/.485 with six long balls, 18 RBI, 20 runs scored, nine doubles and two stolen bases over 142 plate appearances. Mountcastle continues to hit well from the heart of the order in an everyday role.
-
Vladimir Guerrero TOR 1B
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Three hits in Wednesday's win
4h agoGuerrero went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Wednesday's win over the Phillies.
All three hits were singles, but two of them had exit velocities over 113 mph. Guerrero appears to be heating up, batting .350 (14-for-40) over the last 10 games with three doubles and a homer, but his .246/.344/.373 slash line on the season remains disappointing,
-
Ty France SEA 1B
Mariners' Ty France: Not in Thursday's lineup
4h agoFrance is out of the lineup for Thursday's contest in Minnesota.
France is just 1-for-11 with seven strikeouts over his last three games, so he'll get a day off to regroup. Luke Raley will make just his third start of the season at first base while France sits.
-
Andrew Vaughn CHW 1B
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Tallies two hits
5h agoVaughn went 2-for-4 with a double and a walk Wednesday against the Rays.
Vaughn collected multiple hits for the first time in his last seven starts, during which he's gone just for 5-for-25 with two doubles. He's gotten off to a slow start to the season overall by hitting .192 across 142 plate appearances and also has an inflated 26.1 percent strikeout rate.
-
Elehuris Montero COL 1B
Rockies' Elehuris Montero: Sitting Wednesday
19h agoMontero is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.
Montero will exit the starting nine for the first time since April 21, when he sat out the front end of a doubleheader with the Mariners. His move to the bench comes while he's fallen into a 3-for-23 slump at the dish over his last six games, though the Rockies haven't signaled that Montero's standing atop the depth chart at first base is in any jeopardy.
-
Carlos Santana MIN 1B
Twins' Carlos Santana: Sitting Wednesday
21h agoSantana is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.
Santana will take a seat after going 0-for-5 with a walk through the first two games of the series with Seattle. Father Time may be starting to catch up with Santana, whose .588 OPS so far during the 2024 campaign would represent the worst mark of his career by 73 points.
-
Max Schuemann OAK 2B
Athletics' Max Schuemann: Productive in twin bill Wednesday
5h agoSchuemann went 3-for-7 with a double, two walks and two runs during Wednesday's doubleheader against the Rangers.
Schuemann did the majority of his damage in the nightcap, when he got on base thrice via a pair of singles and a walk and came around to score twice. The rookie has now reached safely in five consecutive games, a stretch during which he 's lifted his batting average and on-base percentage to .216 and .348, respectively.
-
Luis Guillorme LAA 2B
Angels' Luis Guillorme: Dealt to Halos
6h agoThe Angels acquired Guillorme from Atlanta on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations or a player to be named later, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
After joining Atlanta on a one-year, $1.1 million deal in January, Guillorme had received limited usage through the first month and a half of the season, logging just 21 plate appearances while seeing action in 10 of the team's 34 games. The infielder should be in store for more playing time with the Angels, who currently have three infielders on the injured list (Anthony Rendon, Miguel Sano and Michael Stefanic) and another two who are day-to-day (Brandon Drury and Luis Rengifo). A glove-first player with a career 93 wRC+ and just five home runs and four stolen bases over 345 MLB games, Guillorme won't make for an especially appealing fantasy option even if he falls into regular at-bats in Anaheim.
-
Marcus Semien TEX 2B
Rangers' Marcus Semien: Productive in doubleheader
16h agoSemien went a combined 6-for-10 with a solo home run and three additional runs scored in Wednesday's doubleheader split with Oakland.
Semien, who had identical 3-for-5 lines in each end of the doubleheader, homered for a second straight game in the matinee. It's been a productive two days for Semien, who had four hits and a homer Tuesday; the second baseman raised his average 38 points after going 10-for-15 over the last three games. The surge has lifted his slash line to .286/.333/.476 with seven homers, 28 RBI and 31 runs through 39 contests.
-
Brice Turang MIL 2B
Brewers' Brice Turang: Logs three doubles in loss
16h agoTurang went 3-for-4 with three doubles, an RBI and a run scored during Wednesday's 6-4 loss to Kansas City.
Turang reached safely four times Wednesday, tagging Brady Singer, Nick Anderson and Tyler Duffey for doubles during the contest while also logging a walk. Turang has been one of the best second basemen in baseball this season, ranking third at the position with a .316 batting average while owning a .826 OPS and a 13.7 percent K Rate.
-
Colt Keith DET 2B
Tigers' Colt Keith: Scores, drives in two Wednesday
17h agoKeith went 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 5-4, 10-inning loss to the Guardians.
It's not a huge stat line but it is a small step forward for Keith, who's batting just .162 with a .414 OPS this season. The rookie now has hits in consecutive games, which is the first time he's done that since the middle of April. Keith may endure some more struggles as he gets used to the MLB level, though he's a talented prospect and should figure things out at some point.
-
Nicky Lopez CHW 2B
White Sox's Nicky Lopez: Checking out of starting nine
23h agoLopez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
Lopez recently overcame a sore adductor and started at second base in the first two contests of the series in Tampa, going 2-for-7 at the plate. The White Sox haven't indicated that Lopez suffered a setback with the injury, so his absence Wednesday is presumably maintenance-related.
-
Matt Chapman SF 3B
Giants' Matt Chapman: Receiving rest day
3h agoChapman is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rockies, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Chapman will take a seat for the first time since April 20 in what likely amounts to a maintenance day as the Giants and Rockies wrap up their series with a day game after a night game. Wilmer Flores will fill in at the hot corner for Chapman, who has seen his performance both in the field and at the plate take a step back in 2024 since signing with the Giants in March. He enters Thursday's contest with a .601 OPS, the lowest mark of any season in his career by more than 100 points (.717 in 2021 with Oakland).
-
Anthony Rendon LAA 3B
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Shifts to 60-day IL
4h agoThe Angels transferred Rendon (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Thursday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
The transaction clears a spot on the 40-man roster for the newly acquired Luis Guillorme. Rendon suffered a high-grade partial tear of his left hamstring nearly three weeks ago and now won't be eligible to return until June 21. A more concrete target date for Rendon's return probably won't be established for several more weeks.
-
Abraham Toro-Hernandez OAK 3B
Athletics' Abraham Toro: On base four times in loss
5h agoToro went 3-for-5 with an RBI single, a double, a walk and two runs during a loss to the Rangers in the second game of a doubleheader Wednesday.
Toro continued to wield one of the hottest bats in the majors during the nightcap, bouncing back from an 0-for-3 showing in the matinee of the twin bill with his seventh multi-hit effort in the last nine games. Toro's strikeout rate during that stretch is a minuscule 7.1 percent, and his slash line now sits at a season-best .293/.351/.447 across 134 plate appearances.
-
Brett Harris OAK 3B
Athletics' Brett Harris: Belts third homer in twin bill
5h agoHarris 2-for-6 with a solo home run, an RBI sacrifice fly, two walks and an additional run over both games of a doubleheader against the Rangers on Wednesday.
The rookie uncorked his first homer since belting his first two big-league round trippers in only his second career game on Saturday versus the Marlins. Harris also continued to display some solid plate discipline for a rookie by drawing another pair of free passes, pushing his walk rate to a stellar 19.4 percent across his first 31 plate appearances.
-
Josh H. Smith TEX 3B
Rangers' Josh Smith: Swipes first bag
6h agoSmith went 1-for-5 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the A's.
After going 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter in a 9-4 loss during the matinee, Smith got the start at shortstop in the nightcap and swiped his first bag of the year in a wild 12-11 victory. The 26-year-old infielder has been productive of late, slashing .297/.422/.541 over the last 12 games with a homer, five RBI and nine runs, but his 6:14 BB:K during that stretch -- not to mention his .373 BABIP on the season -- suggests regression is coming for his batting average. Until Josh Jung (wrist) is back in the lineup though, Smith should continue to see regular playing time.
-
Rafael Devers BOS 3B
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Moving to cleanup
15h agoDevers is expected to hit in the four-hole for the foreseeable future, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.
Devers slotted in at cleanup Wednesday and went 1-for-4 in a loss to Atlanta. He usually hits second in the order, but manager Alex Cora wants to separate the two lefties at the top -- Jarren Duran bats leadoff. Connor Wong hit second Wednesday against lefty Chris Sale, and Cora said he'll probably use Wilyer Abreu there against righties.
-
Brayan Rocchio CLE SS
Guardians' Brayan Rocchio: Delivers winning hit
2h agoRocchio went 2-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Tigers.
Rocchio's first RBI since April 23 came on a walk-off hit. The Tigers brought an outfielder in to crowd the infield, but Rocchio found a gap to center field to complete the Guardians' comeback. The shortstop is batting .286 (6-for-21) in May, and he's up to a .223/.319/.301 slash line on the year. He's added six stolen bases, five RBI, 16 runs scored and eight doubles through 33 contests, but he's still looking for his first big-league home run.
-
Dylan Moore SEA SS
Mariners' Dylan Moore: Hitting bench Thursday
4h agoMoore is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Twins.
Moore has taken over as the Mariners' primary option at shortstop since J.P. Crawford (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list April 25, but he'll cede his spot in the field to Leonardo Rivas in the series finale in Minnesota. During Crawford's absence, Moore has batted just .184, though five of his seven hits over his last 13 games have gone for extra bases.
-
Elly De La Cruz CIN SS
Reds' Elly De La Cruz: Two more pilfers in loss
5h agoDe La Cruz went 0-for-4 with two stolen bases in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.
After reaching base on a fielder's choice in the fifth inning, De La Cruz promptly stole second and third base, but the Reds couldn't bring him home. The 22-year-old phenom is up to 21 steals on the season, tops in the majors by a healthy margin -- second place is a three-way tie at 14 between Ronald Acuna, Brice Turang and Jose Caballero. De La Cruz has gone 0-for-15 over the last four games, but he still sports a .254/.356/.516 slash line on the season with eight homers, 19 RBI and 27 runs in 36 contests.
-
Oneil Cruz PIT SS
Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Another productive performance
5h agoCruz went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Angels.
Cruz provided the majority of Pittsburgh's offense by delivering a double with the bases loaded in the fifth inning. He's had a productive start to Pittsburgh's homestead, collecting six hits in 18 at-bats while also homering twice and driving in seven. Even more important is that he has struck out only four times in that span, a significantly decreased rate from his 34.7 percent clip this season.
-
Kevin Newman ARI SS
Diamondbacks' Kevin Newman: Heading to bench Thursday
6h agoNewman is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds.
Newman will retreat to the bench after he started each of the past three games at shortstop while going 3-for-12 with a run scored. Blaze Alexander will spell Newman at shortstop in the series finale.
-
Carlos Correa MIN SS
Twins' Carlos Correa: Getting breather Thursday
6h agoCorrea is out of the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Mariners.
Correa is getting a routine day off after he had started in all nine games for the Twins since he returned from the injured list April 29. Willi Castro will step in at shortstop in place of Correa, who popped a solo home run -- his second of the season -- in Wednesday's 6-3 win.
-
Jo Adell LAA RF
-
Jung Hoo Lee SF CF
Giants' Jung Hoo Lee: Sitting out with sore foot
1h agoGiants manager Bob Melvin said Lee is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game in Colorado due to a sore foot which is the result of a foul ball off his leg in Wednesday's contest, Manny Randhawa of MLB.com reports.
Lee is receiving treatment and will be reevaluated Friday to see if he's ready to play then. Consider him day-to-day for the time being. Austin Slater is occupying center field in Lee's stead Thursday.
-
Anthony Santander BAL RF
Orioles' Anthony Santander: Lifts homer in win
2h agoSantander went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.
Santander is hitting just .227 over seven games in May and batting .215 on the year, but he has a homer in two of his last three contests. The outfielder has added a .737 OPS through 35 games this season, though that's still a decent margin behind last year's .797 mark. Santander is up to six homers, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple and no steals through 147 plate appearances while holding down a starting role in right field.
-
Jung Hoo Lee SF CF
Giants' Jung Hoo Lee: Resting Thursday
3h agoLee is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rockies, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Lee will exit the starting nine for the first time since April 24 while Austin Slater fills in for him in center field. Unless he's summoned from the bench Thursday, Lee will put his six-game hitting streak on hold before returning to action Friday versus the Reds.
-
Sean Bouchard COL RF
Rockies' Sean Bouchard: Taking control of right field
3h agoBouchard will start in right field and bat fifth in Thursday's game against the Giants.
Bouchard will pick up his fourth straight start in right field and looks to have re-emerged as the Rockies' preferred option at that position over the likes of Jake Cave and Hunter Goodman. Over his prior three starts, Bouchard has gone 5-for-10 with a home run, two doubles and two walks.
-
Kyle Tucker HOU RF
Astros' Kyle Tucker: Homers in third straight
3h agoTucker went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Yankees.
Tucker tallied a homer in his third straight game by taking Carlos Rodon yard in the opening frame. He's also mashed six of his 11 homers this season in his last ten contests, though he has only three additional hits in that span. Overall, it's been an excellent start to the campaign for Tucker, as he has also chipped in five stolen bases, 25 runs and 25 RBI across 36 contests.

-
Henry Lalane NYY SP
Yankees' Henry Lalane: On injured list
1h agoLalane is on the Florida Complex League Yankees' 7-day injured list with an undisclosed injury.
One of the most electric teenage pitchers in the minors, Lalane seemingly mastered the complex league last year (0.97 WHIP, 34:4 K:BB in 21.2 innings), so this explains why he hasn't been assigned to a full-season affiliate yet. If it were a very serious injury, Lalane may have been put on the 60-day injured list, so perhaps he'll just need some time to rehab the injury at the Yankees' spring training complex before making his season debut.
-
Cristian Javier HOU SP
Astros' Cristian Javier: Set to return Saturday
1h agoJavier (neck) will rejoin the Astros' rotation Saturday in Detroit, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Javier will have gone nearly a month in between starts for the Astros when he toes the rubber Saturday, having been sidelined with a neck problem. He's ready to roll now, though, following one rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi which saw him allow three runs over 3.1 frames. Javier threw just 68 pitches in the outing, so he could be somewhat limited from a workload perspective against the Tigers.
-
Albert Suarez BAL SP
Orioles' Albert Suarez: Collects second win
2h agoSuarez (2-0) allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit and a walk while striking out one over two innings to earn the extra-innings win versus the Nationals on Wednesday.
This was Suarez's second outing since he was removed from the rotation following the returns of John Means and Kyle Bradish. Suarez gave up both runs in the 11th inning during Wednesday's game, squandering a two-run lead, but he ended up with the win when the Orioles took the lead for good in the 12th. The right-hander has been a pleasant surprise with a 2.29 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 17:4 K:BB over 19.2 innings this season across five appearances (three starts). Suarez is one of the multi-inning options in the bullpen for the Orioles, but he can also be an option for spot starts if necessary.
-
Darren McCaughan MIA RP
Guardians' Darren McCaughan: Traded to Cleveland
32m agoThe Guardians acquired McCaughan from the Marlins in exchange for cash considerations.
McCaughan had been designated for assignment by the Marlins after giving up eight earned runs over 4.2 relief innings. The 28-year-old is capable of pitching as a starter or reliever and will give Cleveland swingman depth at Triple-A Columbus.
-
Nick Burdi NYY RP
-
Brandon Walter BOS RP
Red Sox's Brandon Walter: Shifts to Triple-A's 60-day IL
2h agoTriple-A Worcester transferred Walter (shoulder) from its 7-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.
Walter possesses a spot on the Red Sox's 40-man roster, but he's currently residing on the Triple-A club's IL since he was optioned to the affiliate in early March. He strained his left shoulder toward the end of camp and has yet to pitch for Worcester. His season debut now doesn't appear as though it'll come until at least June as a result of his move to the 60-day IL.
-
Emmanuel Clase CLE RP
Guardians' Emmanuel Clase: Earns win Wednesday
2h agoClase (2-1) earned the extra-inning win Wednesday over the Tigers, striking out one without allowing a hit or a walk in a scoreless inning.
Clase was sharp in the 10th inning despite a fielder's choice and a wild pitch, and the Guardians completed their comeback on a walk-off Brayan Rocchio single in the bottom of the frame. This outing extended Clase's scoreless streak to five innings, and he's gone 12.1 innings without giving up an earned run. The closer is 11-for-13 in save chances while pitching to a 0.47 ERA, 0.67 WHIP and 20:1 K:BB through 19.1 innings on the year.
-
Daniel Duarte MIN RP
Twins' Daniel Duarte: Undergoes elbow surgery
3h agoDuarte underwent UCL revision surgery on his right elbow Tuesday, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
It was known that Duarte was going to have an operation on his elbow, but the specific type of procedure hadn't been revealed until now. A normal timeline for return for this type of surgery is 14-to-16 months, so Duarte probably won't make it back until the second half of next season, in all likelihood.

Ian Gibaut CIN RP
Reds' Ian Gibaut: Undergoes surgery
3h agoReds manager David Bell said Gibaut underwent anterior interosseous nerve release surgery on his right arm Thursday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Gibaut first began experiencing forearm issues back in late February and never was able to get over the hump, so he ultimately opted for a procedure. Bell said that the Reds are hopeful the reliever can make it back from the 60-day injured list later this season, although a more specific target date for his return probably won't be available for several weeks.
